The fire story well, it comes from a murder on local news. A car is found burning in some streets and when firemen did their job they found a body inside it, it was tied with wire around feet, waist and mouth. A desperate boy friend, co-owner of a big concrete bussines claims the vanishing of his girfriend (they had been living together for a year) since she doesnt answers the cell phone and suddenly he gets a phone call from someone who found the phone and other stuff. The car found is identified as the girlfriends car but the boy still has the hope shes not dead since he saw her on the msn messenger and when he asked her where she was “she” said she was in Aguascalientes with her father (a place several hundreds kilometers away from monterrey). Police investigated the traces and found the father of the gal who lives in mty and claims he havent seen her in months.
The burned body is identified as the girl and it is also found that she was burned while still alive using paint thinner as fuel.
Days after police traces the messages from msn and found that the girl had left the desk computer at work turned on(she worked as assistence in the boyfriends bussisness) and then they caught the killer who results to be an employee of the same concrete company, a jobmate of the girl and he claims he had been having an affaire with her even though hes married and she was engaged. The motive the killer express is that this poor girl (who came from a broken home where father left cause the mother actually is a homeless that wanders in downtown streets) i was saying the killers says the girl demanded him to leave his wife and kids to be together and he refused and then the girl got quite mad because of his negative sooo to control her he kicked her and she stroke her head on the cars window, the killer got scared and decied to burn the body assuming she was already death. the killers story is quite unreasoable because of the evidence, other employees who knew both killer and victim find really really hard they had been having a 4 years affaire and initial psychologic analysis reveal killer is very close to be a psycho.
And i ask on the blog by the meaning of fire, is it a maximum punishment ? a punishment to what? the symbolism of fire as punishment to a very hard fault. Witches were burned to return devils from they came from and hardly hated enemies were burned in flames too as a punishment for previous hostile actions, the fires of helll as the eternal punishment, the never ending suffering as a response. I ask about fire in this case as it doesnt seems to be a pleasure of burning, its a punishment perhaps, but for breaking what rule or honor?
